igrid, the Haughty was the wife of Eric the Victorious (Eric VI) of Sweden. She then married Swein (Sweyn) Fork-beard and became his second wife. Sigrid is mentioned in Norse sagas as the catalyst of the conflict between Swein and Olaf Trygvasson, the King of Norway. Sigrid was supposed to have married Olaf, but refused due to his conversion to Christianity.
