Options and Player Stats
As explained in the Creating a character section you have several main attributes (Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity and Wisdom). These values determine modifiers that get applied when you take certain actions such as combat.
Sub-attributes
In addition, you have several sub-attributes that are also used in gameplay.
Sub-attribute | Details |
Health | This starts at 20 points. You lose health when attacked. If your health reaches 0 it's game over. Health can be restored by taking potions or levelling-up. |
Resolve | Starting at 8 points, your resolve is reduced by certain events in combat. You can use your resolve to boost certain fight cards. Resolve can be restored with potions or when levelling-up. |
Gold | Defeated enemies and chests will supply you with random amounts of gold. You will be able to use your gold to purchase new equipment (this is not yet available). |
Experience | You gain a small amount of experience with every enemy you defeat. Once your experience reaches a certain value, you move up to the next level. |
Level | Starting at 1 your level will increase as you gain experience. Some fight cards get boosted by the level you are currently at. |
Options
Press 'O' to see the Options dialog.
On the 'Items' tab you can select items to be used. This will be potions to restore health, restore resolve and cure infections.
On the 'Armoury' tab you can see what the attributes are for your equipement.
