Details
The Compsognathidae family of dinosaurs share the same features. They are small, family cat sized preditors running on two legs. They had a long neck and head with small sharp teeth. The body was also long and slim as were the legs. The tail was especially long.
The main diet of these dinosaurs were small lizards. This is known because a specimen of a Compsognathus dug up in France was found to have the remains of a lizard within it.
