The brachiosaurids were the largest of all of the dinosaurs, having long legs and neck so that could reach the leaves at the tops of trees that other dinosaurs could not. Fossils located in North America, Europe and North Africa show that they could have been up to 25 meters in length and possibly up to 70 tonnes in weight.
The flat plates of teeth of the brachiosaurids were perfectly adapted to cut the leaves rather than pull them from the tree.
